The Duke Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) Program consists of students and faculty with diverse interests in the broad areas pertaining to the molecular and cellular basis of biology.
CMB students play a very active role in creating their own detailed curriculum, with advice and guidance from CMB faculty. The CMB curriculum combines strong interdisciplinary class offerings with student choice. CMB students are also given specific training on research ethics and scientific integrity.
Duke CMB Program alumni have been very successful in publications and finding positions in scientific research, public policy, scientific writing, and education.
